Construction

General Construction

The general contractor controls the actual construction of the project from permitting through certificate of occupancy.  Careful planning and scheduling with faultless project execution and quality-minded subcontractors is necessary to provide a successful project. Typical types of construction that have been utilized include reinforced concrete, masonry and tie beam, tilt wall, reinforced masonry, pre-cast / pre-stressed concrete, structural steel, and wood.

LEED Accreditation

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation separates the accredited general contractors from other general contractors by their knowledge, and skill to develop or construct a LEED certified project.  LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED AP’s) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles, and the LEED rating system.

Construction Management

The majority of larger projects are completed under a negotiated contract arrangement.  Bank Builders International will control the construction process from concept through completion.  The company is available to handle the budget planning and controls, site survey, supervise the space planning, architectural design, contract negotiations, and construction.  The construction management team is responsible to see that all parties involved perform to expectations.  Owners save time and money, assuring themselves of a project brought in on time and within budget, while relieving themselves of time-consuming responsibilities.

Interior Construction

The company craftsmen and finish carpenters have undertaken the most difficult architectural designs with the finest hardwoods, marbles, and other special materials.  The project management team coordinates the project activities to maintain the critical path of construction.  This ensures the timely completion of a high quality, detailed interior finish at a competitive price.

Quality and Safety Controls

These controls are combined as the driving force is education—being intelligent and proactive in setting up the jobsite, keeping the site clean and free from obstacles, protecting finishes as they are installed, and  having weekly jobsite meetings to educate and review safe work habits.  Preparation and maintenance of a clean and safe jobsite assures quality construction.
